The BBC host, 60, apologised for the mishap after she gave the pollen count for England when a disgruntled social media user quickly called her out for ignoring Wales. I will always remember the day they took away the history books. My small boarding school, on a rain-lashed Devon hilltop, had until that day taught us about the glory and grandeur of English history. It was a story of courage, freedom and the defeat of foreign threats. But these volumes, their pages soft from use, their illustrations in wistful black and white, were no longer acceptable. But there’s more to Drag Queen Story Time than brilliant performances. There’s a serious reason why we want kids to see drag queens in their everyday lives. It’s why the recent backlash to a drag queen reading to kids at Glencoats Primary School in Scotland hurts so much. In this instance, a drag performer with the stage name of ‘Flowjob’, introduced as ‘Flo’ to the children, performed a one off story time session as part of LGBTQ+ History Month. The billionaire media mogul is set to split from his wife Jerry Hall after she filed for divorce, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ earlier this week. But on Saturday, he was seen attending Charlotte’s big day as she tied the knot to rapper Luke Storey at a quiet church service. Murdoch was seen dressed in a crisp cream suit with a suave red tie and red brogues. The bride, 22, who goes under the name Tiarlie, got engaged to DJ Lukey Storey, 36, in July 2021, three years after they met at London private members club Laylow.
