Elon Musk saw his net worth plummet by around £8 billion ($10bn) in a single day last week after sexual harassment allegations about him emerged. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index , Musk's wealth fell to about £160bn ($201bn) late last week, down from $212bn. This is because Tesla stocks, which make up a large portion of Musk's fortune, plummeted following the claims. It has since increased slightly to £162bn ($204bn) as Tesla stock prices stabilised over the weekend. A Business Insider report claimed they obtained documents and interviews which detailed an incident between Musk and an anonymous flight attendant on a private jet in 2016. The report, which was based on claims by the flight attendant's 'friend', claims that Musk exposed his penis to the flight attendant and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage. Elon Musk's tweet last Friday seeking "hardcore streetfighters" to join Tesla's litigation department has been derided and trolled with thousands of mock job applications. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO's Twitter job ad came one day after a bombshell report accused the tech mogul of sexual harassment in 2016. According to Insider , a former flight attendant and SpaceX employee alleged that Musk exposed his penis to her and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage. SpaceX later paid the woman $250,000 to settle her sexual misconduct accusation, Insider reported. Musk has dismissed the allegation as a "politically motivated hit piece." The world's richest man also recently made news for agreeing to buy Twitter in a $44 billion deal on April 14. Malaysia-based Sina Estavi has been offered just over $6,200 (£4,720), about 0.2% of the $2.9m he paid for it. Mr Estavi has compared the digital asset to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. The tweet, which says "just setting up my twttr," was first posted in March 2006 and was auctioned off last year by Mr Dorsey for charity. Mr Estavi bought the tweet in the form of a NFT in March 2021. NFTs have been touted as the digital answer to collectibles. An Iraqi who entered the US two years ago allegedly plotted to kill George W Bush, even travelling to Texas to surveil the former president's home, according to an FBI search warrant affidavit obtained by NBC News. The FBI alleges that Shihab Ahmed Shihab wanted to provide material support to the Islamic State terrorist group, telling a confidential FBI source that he wanted to smuggle people into the country "to murder former President George W Bush" because he held him responsible for killing numerous Iraqis in the 2003 invasion of the country. Forbes first reported the alleged plot. NBC News was not immediately able to find a representative of Shihab, who is in custody, to comment.
