[Jordan Peterson] has been suspended for this tweet about Ellen Page,” Rubin tweeted Wednesday, captioning a screenshot of Peterson’s post. “He just told me he will ‘never’ delete the tweet.” The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro reported on Rubin’s ban Tuesday morning. “[Dave Rubin] has now been suspended for posting news about [Jordan Peterson] ‘s suspension, all because we are not allowed to mention that until five minutes ago, Elliott Page, who is very very very male, was a female actress named Ellen Page,” Shapiro mocked. “I have been suspended by Twitter for posting a screenshot of Jordan Peterson’s tweet, which got he himself suspended,” Rubin said in a statement reported by Shapiro. “While … [Read more...] about Dave Rubin’s Issues Fiery Statement On Twitter Suspension For Post On Jordan Peterson’s ‘Ellen Page’ Tweet | The Daily Wire
Twitter suspends Dave Rubin for sharing Jordan Peterson’s Elliot Page tweet
Days after Jordan Peterson was suspended from Twitter for his offensive comments about Elliot Page, The Rubin Report host Dave Rubin has now suffered a similar fate for sharing a screenshot of the same tweet. Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro broke the news to his followers on Tuesday that Rubin had been suspended by what he calls the "woke activists" who run Twitter. Shapiro also shared Peterson's original tweet, putting himself at risk of being suspended from the platform, as well. Last week, Canadian psychologist and conservative commentator Peterson shared a tweet that deadnamed transgender actor Elliot Page and called the doctor who performed a mastectomy on them a "criminal physician" while recalling a time when pride was "a sin." "I have been suspended by Twitter for posting a screenshot of Jordan Peterson's tweet which got he himself suspended," Rubin wrote in a message sent to and published by Shapiro. Rubin and Peterson's daughter, Mikhaila Peterson, had both … [Read more...] about Twitter suspends Dave Rubin for sharing Jordan Peterson’s Elliot Page tweet

They show 59% of pupils met the expected level in these combined areas this year, down from 65% in 2019. The national curriculum tests were cancelled in 2020 and 2021. The government says the Sats results were "expected due to the impact of the pandemic" and that there is "more work to do" to help pupils catch up. By 2030, it wants 90% of children leaving primary school to reach the expected standards in reading, writing and maths. Unions have called for further investment in schools and teaching staff in order to achieve that target. Is Fleur de Lis closing for good? And what does that say about Baton Rouge’s restaurant scene?
Fleur de Lis, the seller of square pizzas and among Baton Rouge's oldest restaurants, announced it was closing over the Fourth of July weekend — and it's not clear when or if it's going to re-open. That news has caused shock and a wave of nostalgia for many loyal customers and fans of their Round the World Pizza (anchovy, Italian sausage, mushroom, pepperoni, salami, onions — no free substitutions). And, for some, it shows how Baton Rouge and its restaurant scene are evolving. Fleur de Lis' website says it "will be closed July 4th - July 12th for vacation" — something it has been known to do in the past. But its Facebook page says "We will be closed until further notice, due to the shortage of staff. Thank you so much to my few loyal staff and all my loyal customers." Fleur de Lis' owners could not be reached for comment. The restaurant's voice mail says: "We’re going to be closed indefinitely at this point due to staffing issues. We are going to really miss all of our … [Read more...] about Is Fleur de Lis closing for good? And what does that say about Baton Rouge’s restaurant scene?
Man slammed for wanting to install cameras to prove wife is cheating
A woman said in a now-viral post that her husband wants to install home security cameras because he's worried she's having an affair. Posting in Reddit 's "True Off My Chest" forum under the username u/ThrowRA0ooO00ooO, the woman said she's not cheating and "refuses" to be surveilled in her own home. Her refusal, however, has made her husband even more suspicious of her. The post has garnered over 8,400 upvotes and thousands of comments from Redditors criticizing her husband's "controlling" behavior. At the beginning of her post, the woman said she and her husband recently reunited after a brief separation. "We have had a lot of issues, but me wanting to go back to work after maternity leave was the trigger. He wants more children...and [wants me to be] a SAHM [stay-at-home mom]," the woman further explained in the post's comments section. She assumed things were finally "under control," that is, until her husband woke her up at around 5 a.m. the other day, asking her if … [Read more...] about Man slammed for wanting to install cameras to prove wife is cheating
