Spotting the Easter eggs in a movie is all part of the fun of watching them, especially when it comes to Marvel movies - and Captain Marvel is no different. The latest MCU offering sees Brie Larson play the first lead female superhero in the Marvel franchise as Carol Danvers. Those familiar with the comic books will be well aware of the Captain Marvel who came before her, Mar-Vell. Unsurprisingly there's a few references to her predecessor, but there's a few other fun Easter eggs too. Here are a few Captain Marvel Easter eggs we've spotted. We'll add more as they crop up. Starforce Carol Danvers in the film is a member of the military unit called Starforce. This has it's beginning in the comics. A few members seen in the movie are from the comics such as Minn-Erva (Gemma Chan) and Korath (Djimon Hounsou). Easter eggs inspired by The Greatest Showman have been created at the Manchester chocolatier Slattery's. The milk chocolate egg, with its own waistcoat and circus ringmaster jacket, is expected to be a massive hit as the popularity of the hit film shows no sign of slowing down. The handmade 'Circus egg', which isn't officially associated with the film, costs £16.95 and also comes with its own circus ticket and top hat. Slattery's Patissier and Chocolatier in Whitefield has been inundated with orders since sharing a photo of one on its Facebook page. It's just one of the eggs in the retailer's new range this Easter. Other new ones include a sloth egg and a chocolate bar drip egg, showing white and milk chocolate dripping down the side of the shell. Disney's sequel to Mary Poppins is in cinemas - and it's full of Easter eggs. The visual and musical allusions to the 1964 movie were added by director Rob Marshall and songwriters Marc Haiman and Scott Wittman to pay homage to the original. If you've seen the trailer you will have probably already spotted some of the nods to the first movie including Mary's win in the mirror. But there are even subtler Easter eggs hiding in the film.
