Roman Kemp has sung the praises of Love Island contestant Jacques O'Neill following his heart-wrenching display of emotions after he made the decision to quit the ITV2 dating show due to his mental health. Rugby player Jacques, 23, sensationally called time on his Love Island journey this week after admitting that he was struggling with his thoughts and feelings while cooped up in the villa with the other contestants. And although Jacques had found 'the best connection of his life' with Welsh bombshell Paige Thorne , he chose to go home in order to 'sort himself out' and 'get back to himself' in order to be his best self when Paige's time on Love Island eventually comes to an end. A renovation project at The Dhammapadipa Temple in Slateford saw a double garage converted into a prayer room complete with an 80 stone (500kg) gold-plated Buddha from Thailand. Now the three resident Theravada Buddhist monks are urging people to visit the temple to see the transformation. Members of the Thai community that settled in Scotland first established The Dhammapadipa Temple in 2005. Simon Midgley, 32, and his partner, Richard Dyson, 38, from London were guests at the Loch Lomond hotel during the blaze on 18 December 2017. A fatal accident inquiry (FAI) into their deaths is being held at Paisley Sheriff Court. Gary Love, a fire investigator, said he found evidence the couple had tried to use a picture frame to break a window.
