Easter is now very much on the horizon and one of the most popular things to do over the school holidays is an egg hunt. There are a number of Easter egg hunts taking place in the North East - with the Cadbury's Egg Hunts always proving popular and back once again in the region for 2019. Unlike most of them, which you have to pay for, there is another happening in the Newcastle area which won't cost you anything and it will be particularly popular with any Disney fans in the family. As part of Easter half term, Disney Store are hosting an ‘eggs-citing’ in-store Easter Egg Hunt in line with the launch of their second collection of Tiny Big Feet. TESCO are slashing the prices on some of the most popular brands of eggs. By Elle Griffiths/Published 15th March 2019 EGGSELENT: Tesco are slashing their Easter Egg prices for one week only (Pic: Tesco ) Easter may fall late this year, but one upside is that the supermarkets seem to be slashing the prices of their Eggs the longer they’re on the shelves.Not content with already cutting the prices of range of Easter eggs by up to 50%, Tesco are now reducing some of their most popular large eggs to just £2, for one week only. 15 popular eggs are included in the sale which starts next Wednesday and is available both online and in store. Pictures: Danny Loo and Max Taylor Archant A Stevenage-based charity are looking spreading cheer to those less fortunate this easter by donating 1,000 chocolate eggs. Disney's sequel to Mary Poppins is in cinemas - and it's full of Easter eggs. The visual and musical allusions to the 1964 movie were added by director Rob Marshall and songwriters Marc Haiman and Scott Wittman to pay homage to the original. If you've seen the trailer you will have probably already spotted some of the nods to the first movie including Mary's win in the mirror. But there are even subtler Easter eggs hiding in the film.
