An official charity set up to continue the legacy of Princess Diana's support for young people received a number of hate comments relating to Prince Harry and Prince William after it marked an awards ceremony hosted on what would have been their mother's 61st birthday. The Diana Awards officially recognize the humanitarian efforts and ingenuity of young people around the world with an official ceremony hosted around the time of the princess' birthday. The charity was set up in the years following her death and since then has had the continued support of the princess' two sons, William and Harry. In 2017 the charity announced their biennial legacy award which was launched by both princes in the year that marked the 20th anniversary of Diana's tragic death in a Paris car crash at the age of 36. Pop festival Mighty Hoopla has released a statement regarding Macy Gray ’s ‘insensitive and transphobic’ comments’, saying the event ‘will always stand with our trans family’. On Monday evening, Gray appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where she made highly contentious remarks about transgender women . The Duke of Sussex has described how he sees his late mother’s legacy when he looks at his own two children every day. He revealed that not a day goes by when he does not think about the mark Diana, Princess of Wales , left on both him and his brother, the Duke of Cambridge. “My mother instilled in me a drive to speak up and fight for a better world,” he said. “And now, as a husband and parent, my mother’s voice is even stronger in my life.” The Duke, 37, recorded a video message to open this year’s Diana Award ceremony, which took place virtually on what would have been the Princess’s 61st birthday, marking the 25th anniversary of her death. Kate Middleton has firmly cemented British designer label Alessandra Rich as a new fashion favorite by wearing her fourth design of the year to Wimbledon on Tuesday. Kate, a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club that hosts the Wimbledon Championship in London each year, attended the quarter finals men's singles matches accompanied by her husband Prince William . Blue curtains sifting blue light on to a blue mirror, veiling the world outside and spilling over the silver cellophane wrappers of thousands of sweets. Walk through a blue and white bead curtain, and think for a moment that it could almost be rain (it is called Water).
