Rob Hodson led the way during a successful day for Wigan riders at the Isle of Man TT on Monday. SUPERBIKE rider Adam Lyon died while making his first appearance in the Isle of Man TT race. Lyon, 26, from Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute, was killed in an incident during Monday's Supersport 1 event. It happened on the third lap of the race at Casey's corner, just after the 28th mile of the course. Organisers ACU Events Ltd said they wanted to "pass on their deepest sympathy to Adam's family and friends". His death comes after 30-year-old Dan Kneen suffered fatal injuries in an incident during the event's Superbike qualifying session on Wednesday. Lyon had said it was his "dream" to race in the TT - and many other riders have echoed his view, only to meet their death's on the Isle. A Helensburgh motorbike racer has died while competing at the Isle of Man TT. Adam Lyon, 26, was killed on Monday after a crash during the Supersport 1 Race. Organisers ACU Events Ltd said: "ACU Events Ltd regrets to confirm that Adam Lyon, 26, from Helensburgh in Scotland was killed in an incident during the Supersport 1 Race today at the Isle of Man TT Races.
