A refugee who was tortured in an Iranian prison says he faces 'certain death' if he is deported and has shared the reasons why he crossed the Channel in the dinghy to make his way to the UK. On a cold December night, Urmulu climbed into a tiny dingy in Calais alongside a dozen others to make the perilous journey across the English Channel. He knew the dangers he faced, as many had died attempting the same crossing, but he knew that being forced to return to Iran would mean certain execution. Urmulu told Mirror Online he had spent nine months in an Iranian jail after being arrested for making a business trip to Israel, and was tortured by security forces before he managed to escape. An elderly man collapsed and died in New York City on Sunday morning shortly after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, officials revealed Monday. The man, who was in his 70s, fell as he left Manhattan's Jacob Javits Convention Center just 25 minutes after receiving his shot, New York State Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker said in a statement.  On-site security and first responders raced to his side within seconds, but the man, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly afterward.   It's currently unclear if the man's death is linked to the vaccine, with an investigation now underway. Damian DeRousha, 43, is accused of fatally shooting Donald Geno, 31, at ‘point blank range’ on Thursday morning at a Volusia County vehicle repair facility in Daytona Beach. Bedfordshire Police are seeking to talk to this man in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old boy in August 2018 Police have released an e-fit image and are appealing for information after a boy has come forward to say he was raped in August 2018. The 12-year-old boy was running towards Bromham Bridge from Bedford at around 6pm in late August 2018, when he was grabbed from behind by a man, and taken to a car that was parked nearby where he was raped. After around 15 minutes, he managed to escape his attacker and run home. The man is described as then being in his late 30s or early 40s, around 6 foot, with ginger hair and stubble. A man who was caught on camera carrying a Trump flag inside the Capitol building during last month's deadly riot has been arrested after being recognized by people watching the news who turned him in to the FBI. Steven Omar Maldonado was apprehended by FBI agents on Wednesday morning at Orlando International Airport as he was preparing to fly to Puerto Rico. Maldonado was identified after being recognized in news footage that was widely publicized in the days following the siege. His name was reported by a couple who then informed the FBI.
