Groom ‘accidentally shot his fiancée dead in front of her kids days before wedding while showing off new rifle to pal’
A GROOM who accidentally shot his fiancee dead with a rifle a week before their wedding is being investigated for murder. The 44-year-old suspect, identified by his first name Dmitry, was demonstrating his new gun to a pal when he accidentally fired at his fiancee Tatyana, 37, it is alleged. Mars Perseverance’s parachute carried secret NASA message
The enormous orange and white parachute deployed by NASA's Perseverance rover to land on Mars contained a secret message, thanks to a puzzle lover on the spacecraft team. Systems engineer Ian Clark used a binary code to spell out "dare mighty things'' — a line from former US President Theodore Roosevelt — in the orange and white strips of the 70-foot (21-meter) parachute. He also included the GPS coordinates for the mission's headquarters at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. This combination of images from video made available by NASA shows steps in the descent of the Mars Perseverance rover as it approaches the surface of the planet Mars rover message encoding was 'super fun' Clark, a crossword hobbyist, came up with the idea two years ago. Engineers wanted an unusual pattern in the nylon fabric to know how the parachute was oriented during descent. Turning it into a secret message was "super fun," he said Tuesday. Only about six people knew … [Read more...] about Mars Perseverance’s parachute carried secret NASA message
