CROHN'S Disease is an ongoing and life-long condition once diagnosed and there is no cure for the disease. It was name after a New York doctor, Burrill Crohn, who reported a number of cases back in 1932. It is a condition that causes inflammation of the digestive system. The inflammation is the body's reaction to injury or irritation, and can cause redness, swelling and pain. Stem cell transplants could the end misery of Crohn's disease, scientists hope. A clinical trial has begun which will use stem cells to grow a new immune system for people with the condition which causes inflammation in the digestive system, leading to chronic pain and extreme tiredness. Around 115,000 people in Britain suffer from Crohn’s and many fail to respond to current treatments. DYNAMO smiled and looked happy as he enjoyed a drink with his pals and huge dog Bunty. The magician, 35, who is battling Crohn's Disease, appeared in good spirits as he chatted on his phone and patted his Newfoundland pooch. Showing his support for his beloved Bradford City, the star wore his team's football shirt. Dynamo revealed in 2017 that he suffers from Crohn's disease, an inflammatory bowel condition which requires him to take daily medication. He was diagnosed when he was a teenager and had to have half his stomach removed aged 17. After getting food poisoning last year, Dynamo developed arthritis - affecting all the joints in his body including his toes, knees, neck, ankle and hands.
