THE Classic Brit Awards celebrate the stars of classical and opera music. When are the Classic Brit Awards 2018 on ITV? The Classic Brit Awards 2018 will be broadcast on Sunday June 17 from 10.30pm -12.15am on ITV. The 15th edition of the ceremony took place at the Royal Albert Hall on June 13. After Vogue unveiled its most influential women list earlier this week, Elle has now revealed its 'movers and shakers' list of 2018 - featuring some names that will be unfamiliar to many. The women's magazine has released its inaugural Elle List, which features 50 'game-changers' in the worlds of fashion, culture, politics and technology. Those featured attended a glitzy bash at Somerset House in London last night to celebrate being honoured on this year's list. While some high-profile names feature - including Oscar-nominated actor Daniel Kaluuya and Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo - many of the faces are much lesser-known. Leading figures from the worlds of education and construction have been honoured at the Herald Business Awards 2018 for a lifetime spent bolstering Plymouth’s economy. Maurice West, who helped build the Bailey Partnership from a small quantity surveying practice into a UK top 100 construction consultancy, was handed the coveted Lifetime Achievement honour in front of a packed audience at the Pavilions. Mr West has just retired from the practice after 41 years at the firm he joined as a trainee quantity surveyor. And a special Editor’s Choice Award was given to Phil Davies, principle of City College Plymouth, who is stepping down this year, having masterminded construction of the college’s £13million science and technology STEM centre.
