AN image of the Union flag is leaving people baffled with the optical illusion showing exactly how colour blindness works. The BBC Horizon clip - which originally went to air in 1985 - has resurfaced online after being shared on Twitter by the BBC Archive, and depicts a green, yellow and black version of the flag. The narrator urges viewers to stare at the black dot in the centre of the flag for 20 seconds - and soon after, the image will disappear showing a blank, white screen. But while it looks like nothing more than a white screen, a lot of people actually continue to see the flag but in it's traditional colours - red, blue and white. The narrator refers to this as the "three receptor theory" and, as it turns out, there's quite a simple explanation for it. Treasure trove of 50 unreleased Rolling Stones songs mysteriously emerges online
RECORD label bosses are probing the leak of an incredible treasure trove of 50 unreleased Rolling Stones songs spanning their near 60 year career. The high quality studio recordings stem from the 1960s with band founder member Brian Jones, through the 70s with guitarist Mick Taylor right through to recent era with Ronnie Wood . But their release this week on pirate ‘bootleg’ CDs and availability on various Rolling Stones’ fan sites has baffled music experts as to how they were liberated. It is thought the songs were being readied for a full label release - given the studio quality - and that hackers grabbed them or someone leaked it. PEOPLE have been left baffled over an optical illusion of grey squares that look like they are moving. At first glance, the image - which has a collection of squares around the edge and in the middle of a plain background - looks more like a gif than a still pattern. However, this is actually incorrect as the picture isn’t moving at all. The optical illusion has been circulating on Reddit, after being shared by user evilgator , and it has now received 25,000 upvotes. The caption said: "This is not a gif."
