BE honest: how's your work wardrobe looking? Shirts and tops are often the garments most of us concentrate on when buying pieces for work, but with spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to make sure you've got a stylish selection of trousers for the season that will look smart and polished—whatever your profession. Inside Amazon’s ‘dystopian’ store with no tills, booze ‘bouncers’ and surveillance cams
I was one hour and 40 minutes and eleven miles away from London’s new Amazon Fresh supermarket before I had a clue what I’d spent in there. I was already home and munching on my impulse-purchased cinnamon scroll from Britain's first 'no till' store before a receipt of my purchase popped up on my phone screen. I immediately clicked through to the Amazon Shopping app to assess the damage. For £18.89 - not terrible, but not exactly cheap either. I visited the new supermarket at 59 The Broadway, Ealing, west London, on Friday as it drew its first flocks of shoppers curious to try out the experience. What do you think of Amazon Fresh - will you shop there? Join the debate in the comments below... How it works Surveillance technology allows shoppers to simply scan in using a QR code then place items in their bag. Instead of handheld scanning equipment, the sophisticated 'Just Walk Out' camera technology tracks shoppers' movements and determines the items they take … [Read more...] about Inside Amazon’s ‘dystopian’ store with no tills, booze ‘bouncers’ and surveillance cams

Colin Stagg is working at Tesco after £700,000 payout for being wrongly accused of Rachel Nickell’s murder
THE man wrongly accused of killing Rachel Nickell is reportedly working at a Tesco store years after picking up a £700,000 payout. Colin Stagg was falsely charged with murdering the young mum on Wimbledon Common in the summer of 1992. The former model, 23, was walking with her dog Molly and two-year-old son Alexander when she was attacked and stabbed 49 times. The young child was later found clinging to his mum's blood-soaked body pleading for her to wake up . Stagg was later the target of a honey trap operation involving a blonde undercover cop tasked with getting him to "confess" to a murder he did not commit. He never admitted to killing Rachel, however, and even though there was no worthwhile evidence against him, police still charged him with her murder. Tom Cruise: Creator of Hollywood star’s viral deepfake warns people to ‘think twice’ over manipulated videos
The creator of a series of deepfake Tom Cruise videos says he wants to make people more aware of what they are watching - and that it might not be real. Viewed more than 11 million times, Chris Ume's videos appear to show Cruise playing golf, doing a magic trick, and falling over while telling a story about former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. A deepfake usually involves an image or video in which a person or object is visually or audibly manipulated to say and do something that is fabricated. Most people realised Ume's videos were fake - but the 31-year-old says the speed the technology is advancing could pose problems in future. "I always try to make funny content, but at the same time, when people see these videos they realise and will learn what's possible within the next few years," he told Sky News. Advertisement "The tech is evolving rapidly and will get better and will become more accessible as time goes on.
