Russell T Davies has shared the heartbreaking storylines he considered for two of the It's A Sin's most prominent characters. The show's creator has revealed he initially hoped his acclaimed AIDS-focused series would have eight episodes, giving him more space for character development. He intended to use this to extend the plots of both Roscoe and Jill, with heartbreaking changes in the plotlines of the much-loved pair. Speaking on Damian Barr's Literary Salon , he said one episode would be a timehop forwards, in which we would have seen Jill at 55. Russell said: "She's still working in mental and sexual health. It's too long a story to describe, but you get the feeling that she's trapped in that world, actually." The 72-year-old from Stockport had a knee replacement in October and has since suffered infections in the scar tissue, causing agonising pain. Then at the beginning of this month she received the first dose of AstraZeneca 's Covid-19 vaccine. 'I woke up the next morning and the leg pain and stiffness was gone,' she says. 'I couldn't believe it. I joked with my partner about whether the vaccine had anything to do with it. Previously, I couldn't even bend my leg. Now I can extend it fully, and even put my shoes and socks on. I'm optimistic I'll be able to return to work sooner, rather than later, now.' DISNEY+ has added hundreds of new TV shows and movies today. Some of the biggest additions include Lost, Borat , Pretty Woman and Desperate Housewives. The service launched back in 2019 and has quickly become one of the world's biggest platforms, rivalling even Netflix . It's got household franchises from Disney, Star Wars , Marvel , Nat Geo and more. But much of the content is child-friendly, so Disney+ is hoping to change that with Star.
