The biggest whitefish trawler in the UK fleet sailed up the Thames on Tuesday to highlight the threats facing the fishing industry if Brexit negotiations fail to deliver a deal. The Kirkella, based at Hull, can catch 2.3 million fish on every two-month voyage, plying the seas of the Arctic, Greenland, Norway and the north-east Atlantic. Built last year, it has travelled to the Arctic five times so far, and on Wednesday it will be officially named and launched by the Princess Royal at Greenwich in London. Spectators will be treated to 3,000 free portions of fish and chips. But there will be little celebration if the Brexit process fails, the vessel’s owners warned, as from Brexit day onwards there will be no automatic access to these key waters and a deal must be struck with the governments of Norway, Iceland and the Faroes if British fishing there is to continue. Freddie Mercury fans willing to splash the cash can now get their hands on a two-page setlist from one of Queen's concerts. The handwritten setlist from Queen's April 13 1978 Copenhagen concert features many of the band's hits and is on sale on memorabilia website Moments in Time for $35,000. Handwritten by frontman Mercury, We Will Rock You is seen as the opening number with Brighton Rock and Somebody to Love following. Piece of history: A setlist written by Queen frontman Freddie Mercury (pictured in 1978) has gone up for sale for $35,000 The setlist has a certificate of authenticity from the previous owner of the piece printed on Queen's International Fan Club stationery. The certificate confirms the list is 'from the Copenhagen concert April 13 1978.' UK border police have arrested 12 migrants who stole a French fishing trawler, crossed the Channel and reached the UK coast overnight in an “unprecedented operation”, according to Gallic maritime authorities. The 12 migrants, whose nationalities are unknown, broke into the 12-metre (40ft) boat in the northern French port of Boulogne-sur-mer on Monday night. The French coastguard spotted the trawler taking a “bizarre” route across the world’s busiest waterway at around 9.30pm local time in calm seas. The local surveillance and safety centre, Cross, at Cap Gris-Nez in the Pas-de-Calais phoned the owner of the vessel, who confirmed his boat was missing, and then contacted the maritime rescue coordination centre in Dover. Alerted to their imminent arrival in UK waters, Border Force officers arrested the migrants as soon as they reached the shore at around 1am, according to a spokeswoman of the Manche and North Sea maritime authority.
