A WOMAN got the shock of her life after discovering something very wrong with her banana which had been sitting in her fruit bowl for days. To look at, the piece of fruit looked mostly normal, however, it had a strange black circle near the stem which had turned white in colour. Baffled by the unusual markings, the woman took to Facebook in search of some answers. Alongside a snap of the banana, she wrote: "Does anyone have any insight as to what is on my banana that's been in my fruit bowl since Sunday." And added: " I'm slightly freaking out about it!" The post has since garnered over 5,000 comments and almost 2,000 likes from people who offered their suggestions - with others desperate to know the answer themselves. A WOMAN was left terrified after discovering a secret creepy apartment hidden behind her bathroom mirror. New York-based Samantha Hartsoe showed her stunned reaction after realising her mirror came off the wall to reveal a whole other living space. Samantha made four TikTok videos documenting the rather chilling discovery, and said it was made after she realised her bathroom had an unusual draft. Showing how her hair was blowing slightly as she stood in the doorway, she said: “So I walk into the bathroom and I feel cold air blowing on me.” After running her hand over the bathroom vent and any possible holes, Samantha quickly realised the draft was coming from the mirror. The Perseverance rover hit a new milestone this week, taking its first test drive on the red planet, NASA announced on Friday. The Mars rover ventured drove 6.5 meters (21.3 feet) in 33 minutes, the US space agency said. In total, the six-wheeled, car-sized astrobiology probe moved forward 4 meters, turned in place to the left and then backed up another 2.5 meters to park temporarily. The rover "responded superbly," said NASA engineer Anais Zarifian. "We are now confident our drive system is good to go, capable of taking us wherever the science leads us over the next two years." What's next for Perseverance? Some additional, short-distance test driving was planned for Friday. Perseverance is capable of averaging 200 meters (656 feet) of driving per day once it starts its scientific exploration.
