The older brother of a Birmingham pub bombings victim has told an inquest he felt like he had “literally driven my sister to her death” on the night she died. To start off Peterborough Week I timed myself to spend only 43 minutes exploring the city to get a feel. Before we begin, I do have a confession to make. I have an advantage in covering Peterborough, as I was born and raised here. While this did prove useful for finding my way around and not having to waste time looking at maps, I did find myself discovering new things and seeing areas in a fresh light as I really looked at them for the first time. Coventry City were defeated 2-1 on home turf by Charlton on Monday evening with an experienced Addicks side getting the better of the young Sky Blues. The touring pop punk, ska punk, metal and alternative rock festival will return to its new Slam Dunk South home in Hatfield Park over the late Spring May Bank Holiday weekend.Slam Dunk will also visit Yorkshire for its North leg on Saturday, May 25. This will now take place at new outdoor venue Temple Newsam Park – instead of Leeds city centre. The Midlands leg at the NEC in Birmingham has been cut from the schedule.
