Just as online dating is growing more widely accepted (and used) than it's ever been, Match.com is promoting a new option that's either slightly creepy, very expensive, or both, depending on your view: for $5,000, the dating service's new partner company will find you a date who looks a lot like your ex. That deal is the result of a new partnership with Three Day Rule, a Los Angeles-based "personalized matchmaking service" that uses facial recognition software as part of its pairing algorithm. "Three Day Rule has a technology that helps the matchmakers narrow the database and search people by facial structure," a representative for the company wrote in an email. Maybe the company is on to something. Founder Talia Goldstein told Newsweek that she frequently asks clients to send photos of their ex-partners. "I noticed over the years that people have a type, and it's not based on ethnicity or hair color or body type," Goldstein said. "Their faces look very similar. So what I did … [Read more...] about Match.com’s New Partner Will Set You Up With Someone Who Looks Like Your Ex for $5,000

Passenger who landed plane recounts “scariest” moments after pilot collapsed at controls
A Florida man with no flying experience who kept his cool while landing a small plane last week says "the hand of God" was with him after the pilot collapsed at the controls. Meanwhile, a doctor told NBC's "Today" show that the pilot has been released from the hospital, calling his recovery a "miracle." Darren Harrison told "Today" that he was relaxing with his feet up in the back of the single-engine Cessna after a fishing trip in the Bahamas when the pilot told him and another passenger: "Guys, I gotta tell you I don't feel good." "He said, 'I've got a headache and I'm fuzzy and I just don't feel right," the 39-year-old flooring salesman said. "And I said, 'What do we need to do?' and at that point he didn't respond at all." Harrison climbed into the cockpit and saw that the plane was diving, and fast. "All I saw when I came up to the front was water out the right window and I knew it was coming quick," he said. "At that point I knew if I didn't react, that we would … [Read more...] about Passenger who landed plane recounts “scariest” moments after pilot collapsed at controls

The married couple is among current and former Team GB legends who will receive honours on Tuesday at Windsor Castle for their services to cycling. Royal Family news- Prince Harry & Meghan ‘still pushing for royal life’ despite not wanting the ‘association’ with them
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are “still pushing for royal life” despite not wanting to be "associated" with them, a royal expert has claimed. PR expert Lina Citreon discussed the Sussexes ’ lifestyle choices with Christina Garibaldi on the latest episode of Royally Us. Speaking on Royally Us, host Christina Garibaldi said: “They [ Harry and Meghan] are one of the most recognisable couples in the world but they also wanted to straddle that royal life. “You know, when they were told they couldn’t, they’re still using their HRH titles and things, so it seems like they’re still pushing the royal life but don’t really want to be associated with it either”. PR expert Lida said: “One of the things we’ve learnt is you sometimes don’t get to have it both ways. “When you think about royal life and pageantry of the institution, there’s lots of rules that come with that and there’s protocols and there’s rewards. “But celebrity also has rules and protocols and rewards, it … [Read more...] about Royal Family news- Prince Harry & Meghan ‘still pushing for royal life’ despite not wanting the ‘association’ with them

His versatility has made him one of coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst's most-trusted players. And while he may look thin and fragile, there is a lot of power in his sinewy frame. The 25-year-old Londoner moved to Rangers in 2019 after a successful time with Charlton Athletic, where he helped the club gain promotion into the Championship. During his early days in Glasgow, he thrived under Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, winning the club‘s young player award in his first season. The next year he contributed eight goals to help the team to their first Scottish Premiership title in a decade. He became a Nigeria international after qualifying through his parents and scored in his first two games for the Super Eagles … [Read more...] about Europa League: Joe Aribo on verge of cementing Rangers’ legacy
