Coventry City have concluded their business for the the summer. The Sky Blues arguably saved their best deal until last with the late arrival of Portsmouth striker Conor Chaplin. Mark Robins’s summer-long target is the manager’s 15th arrival in the window, following 12 permanent signings and two loans in Dujon Sterling and Luke Thomas. A number of the signings have been development players but, all in all, the club have been extremely proactive in the market to boost City’s fortunes back in League One with half an eye on the future. The Champions League really kicks into gear on Thursday when the draw for the group stages take place. There will be four English teams in the hat for the draw in Monaco as the two Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Tottenham learn their fate.
