Arsenal playmaker Martin Odegaard has emerged as a potential candidate to become the Gunners’ new captain this summer. Mikel Arteta’s side are on the lookout for a new skipper after a significant turnover of captains in recent years. Last season, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was stripped of the club’s captaincy for disciplinary reasons prior to leaving for Barcelona in January. Alexandre Lacazette was given the captaincy following Aubameyang’s removal but Arsenal are once again on the lookout for a player to wear the armband as the striker is leaving this summer to return to Lyon. A federal appeals court commended a district judge for her dedication in overseeing a 50-year-old desegregation case, but also ruled that she went to far when she closed a St. Martin Parish elementary school in an attempt to break long-standing segregation. The case was sent back to the district court for "consideration of other methods of addressing"  the concerns of segregation at Catahoula Elementary. The appeals court did, however, affirm the district judge's refusal to grant St. Martin Parish unitary status. Unitary status refers to a series of court rulings in desegregation cases that releases school system from federal oversight. In June 2021, U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Foote denied St. Martin's request for unitary status, and ordered Catahoula Elementary School be closed. Wembley Stadium has issued advice to fans attending Coldplay ’s Music Of The Spheres world tour as temperatures are forecast to reach 35°C over the weekend. The British band are playing six shows at the London venue, which has a capacity of 90,000, between Friday and August 21 . Advice published on the Wembley Stadium website asks those attending concerts on Friday and Saturday not to arrive too early, to avoid overconsumption of alcohol, and to wear light clothing to allow the air to circulate. The venue has also said fans can bring in a refillable plastic or aluminium water bottle – up to 500ml capacity – which they can fill at water points throughout the stadium. Other advice includes to wear a hat, apply sunscreen and to seek shade if fans feel too hot. Concert-goers who find themselves feeling unwell during the show are advised to ‘seek help from the stadium’s customer engagement or medical teams’. The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex were kept in the dark about a new television series that will rake over the conspiracy theories surrounding their mother’s death . The four-part Channel 4 documentary, Investigating Diana: Death in Paris, will be broadcast later this month to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the late Princess’s death. Neither of her sons was consulted about the series and neither has been shown a preview, sources confirmed. For the brothers, it will represent yet another attempt to exploit their mother’s death and will only serve to fuel the various conspiracy theories about the fatal accident that producers claim they want to “put to rest”.
