A woman has revealed the huge last supper she ate before she had 80% of her stomach removed in a gastric sleeve operation. Lauren Linford, from Hertfordshire, did not always struggle with her weight; she was happy as a size 10/12 for the majority of her teen years. At the age of 17, the makeup artist found herself in her relationship and started to put on the pounds – but soon lost it again once she broke up with her partner at the time. Seven years ago, Lauren started to have issues with her stomach and was eventually diagnosed with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Gradually, the 30-year-old started to gain weight over seven years whilst her IBS symptoms got worse. Despite her best efforts, she had enough of attempting diets , being in pain and frequently using the toilet because of the condition. The professional beautician decided to book a trip to Turkey and get a gastric sleeve operation to aid her with her weight loss – which has now left her with a “child size” … [Read more...] about Woman enjoys gut-busting cheat meal before getting 80% of stomach removed

Asking For A Friend: Can you be in love with two people at once?
Asking for a Friend is the series where we answer the questions that you’re too embarrassed to ask. Generally speaking, the idea of loving two people at the same time, in the romantic sense, is outlandish. After all, it’s generally accepted that you can’t love someone new without hurting the person you loved first – that would surely require emotional cheating , after all – and how could you possibly do that to someone you love? But time and time again, people find themselves in this predicament, stuck between two lovers, with genuine feelings for both of them. So, what gives? Does that mean you don’t really love either of them? Or is it actually possible to love more than one person at a time? What does psychology say? The short answer is yes, on a psychological level, you can love more than one person at a time. Afterall, love is no more than a chemical reaction – a ‘neurochemical high’ – and those reactions aren’t bound by societal restraints or … [Read more...] about Asking For A Friend: Can you be in love with two people at once?
I Went to Disney World
Earlier this month, Walt Disney World began reopening, following almost four months of closure due to the pandemic. I flew to Orlando to experience the magic. The week I arrived, Florida had registered the highest single-day case count of any state thus far. In Orlando’s airport, I felt a vague sense that Floridians considered such statistics a source of secret pride, as if they had set a record for fattest alligator or ugliest serial killer or most senior citizens in a golf cart. The airport where I had started my day, in Connecticut, had required masks, and everyone wore them. Here in Florida, some passengers went totally unmasked, but most wore masks in a defiant fashion, either slung under their chin or with their nostrils gaping out over the top, sucking and spewing potentially viral particles with every breath. A friend who lives a couple of hours away in St. Petersburg likens this latter style to “wearing a condom that covers only the shaft.” Disney World is in Florida only … [Read more...] about I Went to Disney World

A "demon" dominatrix who stabbed her ex to death in her neighbour's treehouse was obsessed with "blood play" in the bedroom. Julia Enright worked as a phlebotomist at a clinical laboratory and was used to taking samples of blood - but her interest soon spilt into her private life. Enright, who was 21 at the time, advertised herself on business cards as Mistress Jasmine and enjoyed BDSM on the side in 2018. She created art from animal bones and kept creatures, known as "wet specimens" and vials of blood in jars inside of her home in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, USA. Two years earlier, she had been studying at a vocational-technical high school and met Brandon Chicklis while travelling on the bus. They later started dating . Brandon, a former boy scout, was known for being kind and thoughtful and was described as quirky, with a goofy laugh. It was reported that they would meet for sex in her neighbour’s treehouse, where Enright set up restraints.
