John Mulaney once again returned to Saturday Night Live as host over the weekend, and, as expected, the all-star comedian did not disappoint. With Mulaney back in the role of host for the third time, it was a rather festive night of SNL , which returned on Saturday following a two-week hiatus. The comedian—who worked as a writer on SNL for several years, beginning in 2008—appeared at ease on stage, especially when compared to his first turn as host, back in 2018. During Saturday's broadcast, Mulaney was a dominating presence in just about every sketch and skit he appeared in—especially the musical numbers. Mulaney had a penchant for writing musical sketches back when he worked on the NBC show, and even won an Emmy in 2011 for a musical number that Justin Timberlake performed as host. Chef Justin Sutherland was hospitalized on Sunday after a boat accident left him with a broken jaw and arm as well as body lacerations. The Southern-raised, Minnesota-based restaurateur was cruising with friends while wearing his favorite captain's hat when it blew off and he fell into the water attempting to retrieve it. 'The propeller did a number on his head and left arm. His arm is broken, but his grip remains strong and there appears to be no nerve damage,' Justin's friend Beth Gillies wrote. AMERICAN Pickers star Frank Fritz has improved his Iowa antique store after scathing reviews over “cheap and tacky” merchandise. Frank, 58, was fired from American Pickers in July 2021 after he took time off the series to recover from back surgery . He currently owns antique shop Frank Fritz Finds located in Illinois. The store has received poor reviews over the years, as the location has been slammed for its “cheap” items and “disorganization.” The Sun can exclusively reveal Frank has improved his store , as reviews have been more positive in recent months. One customer wrote on Google: “Much improved. Hard to find items. Great prices. Looking for something, just ask. They will find virtually anything. Highly recommend. Sent lots of customers.
