BBC presenter Magenta Devine died today and it's been revealed she'd been ill for some time. She passed away aged 61 after receiving treatment in hospital for an illness shortly before her death. No more details about her health battle have been revealed, but it's been suggested that it was a short illness rather than a long-term condition. Her death was confirmed in a statement from her family, which hailed her as a "a talented writer and stylish on-screen presence". It added that she was "greatly admired by her many friends and colleagues for her creativity and wit." POP star David Cassidy died aged 67 after suffering from multiple organ failures. The former teen idol, who appeared in 1970s sitcom The Partridge Family, battled against ill health before passing away in November 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. Who was David Cassidy? PAUL Danan admitted he's been to rehab seventeen times as he blamed reality TV for sending him on a downward spiral. Appearing on The Jeremy Kyle Show, the former Hollyoaks star, 40, revealed he has sought therapy for his demons almost two dozen times but can't stop relapsing. He confessed: "I've had 17 stints in rehab. They do work. They're amazing. "They've saved my life many times but it's maintenance and it's about sustaining that recovery and not putting anything before that recovery - even my little boy, who I love to death."
