John Mulaney once again returned to Saturday Night Live as host over the weekend, and, as expected, the all-star comedian did not disappoint. With Mulaney back in the role of host for the third time, it was a rather festive night of SNL , which returned on Saturday following a two-week hiatus. The comedian—who worked as a writer on SNL for several years, beginning in 2008—appeared at ease on stage, especially when compared to his first turn as host, back in 2018. During Saturday's broadcast, Mulaney was a dominating presence in just about every sketch and skit he appeared in—especially the musical numbers. Mulaney had a penchant for writing musical sketches back when he worked on the NBC show, and even won an Emmy in 2011 for a musical number that Justin Timberlake performed as host. Novak Djokovic has revealed he's keeping in touch with former coach Boris Becker whilst the German serves his prison sentence. Back in April, Becker, 54, was found guilty of four charges under the Insolvency Act, having hidden £2.5million of assets after being declared bankrupt in 2017. As a result, he was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in jail at Southwark Crown Court . Becker, who six Grand Slam titles during his career - three of which came at Wimbledon - begun coaching Djokovic in 2013. During their three year stint together, the Serbian won six Slam titles and 14 Masters 1000 titles. The pair remained close despite finishing their partnership. Novak Djokovic handed Australian Open boost as rule change opens door for return
Novak Djokovic may be able to compete for a 10th Australian Open title next year. The Serb’s slim chances of playing at Melbourne Park in 2023 appear to have been given a boost despite being banned from the country for three years due to being unvaccinated and the deportation drama earlier this year. But according to ABC , Djokovic could be back in Australia as early as this summer after the new Labor relaxed its rules on international arrivals. Health Minister Mark Butler said over the weekend that from July 6 foreign travellers will no longer have to declare their COVID-19 vaccination status upon entering Australia. "The Chief Medical Officer has advised it is no longer necessary for travellers to declare their vaccine status as part of our management of COVID," he said. British family ‘devastated’ as they face being kicked out of Australia after 10 years
A Scottish family who face being kicked out of Australia after moving their 10 years ago, are fighting to stay in the country and spending thousands of dollars in the process. Mark Green, a skilled electrician, his wife Kelly and their daughter Rebecca relocated to Adelaide in 2012 when a solar power firm offered to sponsor Mark's visa if he came and worked for them. He was given a three year visa and had planned to apply for permanent residency, but the firm went bust. Although Mark continued to get work he says the same thing happened to him seven times and each time he had to restart the family's application for residency. The Australian government have now said the family - who previously lived in Prestwick, Ayrshire must leave the country by August 10 while they reapply, Edinburgh Live reports. Only 227 Ukrainians have arrived in New Zealand almost four months after the Government announced a visa that promised to offer up to 4000 refugees shelter. The 2022 Special Ukraine Visa, announced on March 15 , allows Ukrainian-born New Zealand citizens and residents the chance to sponsor their immediate family members to bring them to safety. The Government has said the visa is “the largest special visa category established in decades” – but only 5.6% of the spaces have been filled. The advocacy group Mahi for Ukraine has been working closely with Immigration New Zealand since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began.
