Completely wireless earbuds are the future of in-ear music, freeing us from the shackles of cables even between the ears. But while many have tried to make wireless earbuds that work, very few actually do. Others haven’t even got theirs to market yet, with even Apple being forced to delay its AirPods for six weeks. The big problem with those that do exist is most cannot maintain a solid connection between themselveswhile on opposite sides of your head. To complicate things, smartphones are not all born equally for Bluetooth performance. To conduct the test I used a Google Pixel XL, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Apple iPhone 7 and tried as many earbuds as I could get my hands on, finally finding only two worth buying. Here are the ones to avoid, and why ... Earin Price: £199 (buy here) Earin look like old school car cigarette lighters shrunk so they can fit in your ear. They lack any buttons or controls, charge in a long cylindrical battery case and sound pretty good for over … [Read more...] about I tried every set of wireless earbuds until I found some that worked, so you don’t have to

Grünheide is a picturesque community of some 8,500 inhabitants about 40 kilometers (25 miles) southeast of Berlin. It's here that Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk wants to build his European Gigafactory to produce batteries and cars as of 2021. The area boasts sprawling forests, 10 lakes, two rivers — and just one public Tesla "Destination Charger," hidden away on the backside of a gas station. You might expect such a party to be condemned by the Tories for its appalling, secretive, imaginary maths. You may think that, if a single political party's crackpot ideology has cost us so much more than the EU, the Tories would suggest every voter of sense abandon that party in the national interest. But you will have to wait a long time for it, because it's the Tories that have done all these fiscally-barking, politically-deadly, and utterly … [Read more...] about The real Labour manifesto is a real change for the better – it’s got good ideas you’d actually like
Peak-time traffic in the Hampshire constituency of Eastleigh has been causing commuter stress, especially in and around Bursledon and Old Netley where hundreds more homes are being built.Christine Brown, who lives in the constituency, asked BBC's Your Questions Answered team: "What would each candidate do about traffic on Hamble Lane?"She said: "The main problem happens at the junction of Portsmouth Road and Hamble Lane."At peak times, traffic trying to turn right into Portsmouth Road gets blocked by oncoming traffic as there is not a sufficient turning right lane and Hamble Lane very quickly gets blocked going on to the Windhover roundabout and M27 slip road."With the extra housing now being built on Hamble Lane, the problem is only getting worse."Apparently plans are afoot to alleviate this problem but, as yet, nothing has been seen."What has happened so far? Hampshire County Council held two consultations in 2018 on a proposed £13.5m improvement scheme It is proposing to widen … [Read more...] about General election 2019: What will candidates do about Eastleigh traffic?
