By Aimee Thomas Published 3 hours ago Share close Share page Copy link About sharing Student Sophie Morgan was terrified when she looked through her curtains to see a man photographing her. "I opened the curtains and saw a man on my roof outside, filming me and staring right at me," recalled Sophie. That chilling moment was Sophie's catalyst to start a group that helps women who have been a victim of sexual harassment. Her group also helps women get home safely at night without feeling frightened. Sophie had heard of incidents of women being sexually harassed in Swansea. The university student thought little was being done to help women's safety, so she decided to act. Man Utd may be forced into accepting £40m loss on flop as Erik ten Hag makes decision

August 18, 2022 by www.dailystar.co.uk

Manchester United might have to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka at a fraction of the price they paid for him this summer. The defender was one of the first players to be dropped from the team after Ralf Rangnick arrived midway through last season. And that policy has continued under Erik ten Hag, who prefers Diogo Dalot. There is even talk of United signing another right-back with Barcelona star Sergino Dest linked, as well as Borussia Dortmund defender Thomas Meunier, further pushing Wan-Bissaka down the pecking order. The 24-year-old has been told he can leave this summer. It started with the shock announcement that Fernando Alonso will be taking soon-to-be retired Sebastian Vettel’s seat at Aston Martin , leaving a stunned Alpine in the lurch. Still, a simple promotion of highly-regarded test driver Oscar Piastri to the top table would be straightforward, wouldn’t it? A quite dramatic and firm no. The Australian – having been announced as Alpine’s driver for 2023 – released a statement insisting he has not signed any deal and won’t be racing for the team next year, triggering a whole array of rumours as to where he’ll be ending up next. NHS COVID pass goes down leaving British travellers struggling to board flights

August 19, 2022 by news.sky.com

British travellers have been left struggling to board flights after the NHS COVID pass became unavailable. Users trying to access proof of their vaccination status via the NHS App and website found that the service was inaccessible on Thursday. "We are sorry the NHS COVID pass is currently unavailable. At this time there is no alternative route for accessing this information via the NHS App or online," an error message read. "If you have already downloaded the information, then your access should not be affected." On social media, several travellers said they had been unable to check in at airports because they were unable to prove their vaccination status. The requirement for people to show the NHS COVID pass to visit indoor and outdoor events and venues in the UK was scrapped earlier this year. But, it is still used as a way for people to show their vaccination status when travelling abroad to certain countries, such as Spain.
