A woman who has claimed to have been sexually harassed by the former dean of Christ Church, Oxford , has spoken about her experience for the first time, saying “it is insulting he is trying to claim being the victim”. Previously known only as “Miss X”, Alannah Jeune has waived her right to anonymity to reveal how reporting the Very Rev Prof Martyn Percy for allegedly stroking her hair in the sacristy in Oct 2020 cost her her thesis. “This has had a massive impact on my life,” the 29-year-old told The Telegraph in an exclusive interview. “I’ve lost my job, my housing and my PhD over this. “The whole thing was weird and creepy. The firm has unveiled a futuristic Daft Punk -like wearable called Dyson Zone that doubles up as a pair of Bluetooth over-ear headphones and an air filter mask. Dyson says the wacky idea didn't come about because of coronavirus , they've actually been working on it for more than six years as a way to provide clean air in dirty cities. Ned Beatty, an Oscar-nominated character actor who appeared in dozens of films and TV shows throughout his career, has died at the age of 83. Rising to fame with a role in Deliverance in 1972, Beatty went on to appear in films including Superman and Superman 2 alongside Christopher Reeve, Network, All The President's Men, and Charlie Wilson's War. His manager, Deborah Miller, said the actor died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, surrounded by his friends and loved ones. After spending his early acting career on stage, Beatty was cast as Bobby Trippe in Deliverance, also starring Jon Voight and Burt Reynolds, playing a happy-go-lucky member of a male river-boating party terrorised by thugs. People are paying more than $80,000 for some rare pairs - and it doesn't look like they even get real ones to go with it. As if that wasn't pricey enough, buyers can get their hands on digital vials to change their appearance. These are going for anything between $2,500 for more common designs, up to $449,000 for the rarest. The clothing giant has launched a collection of 20,000 NFT sneakers after buying virtual designers RTFKT (pronounced "artefact") last year. As if the metaverse wasn't bad enough with seedy strip clubs and naked avatars , experts want to take the realism a step further. Scientists have created a device that brings a feeling sensation to the mouth, lips and tongue. They pulled it off by adding a load of special ultrasonic transducers to a VR headset. At the moment, the metaverse and VR is largely focussed on 360 visuals, sound and hand controls.
