I don’t mean the person who was being buried. They had died a few days earlier, obviously. I mean one of the mourners passed away during the service. That was shocking in its own right, but what made it surreal is that the other mourners carried on as if nothing had happened. The funeral took place in the deceased’s garden, where her family had arranged for her to be buried, and at the conclusion of the service someone announced that wine and food would be served. The 100 or so people in attendance formed a queue at the kitchen door and started chatting among themselves. Meanwhile, the poor woman who had died was flat out on the grass behind them. British singer Boy George is in mourning, this week. The chart-topper, 56, has revealed he has suffered the shock death of a young friend from TV series The Voice Australia. He took to Twitter on Monday, where he shared the sad news with fans and uploaded a moving tribute to the youngster - known simply as William Smith. It's not clear how the pair knew each other, but there was clearly a strong connection between them. In a heartfelt message, Boy George - real name George O'Dowd - said: "I just lit a candle for my little friend from TheVoiceAU 'William Smith' who went with the angels this week. "A brave, beautiful soul with an amazing family. Please light a candle and post."
