Romance looks set to blossom between Coronation Street 's Kelly Neelan (Mille Gibson) and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) as the pair were spotted filming sweet scenes this week. On location in Manchester, Kelly found herself in a sticky situation as she reversed her car into another vehicle, forcing Aadi to come to her rescue. In the scenes, Kelly could be seen beaming Aadi came to her aid on a child's pink bike, complete with unicorn basket and purple tassels. Rescue! The Taranaki Airs are having their best season in years with finals basketball within touching distance. Traditionally a cellar-dweller, the Airs have been vastly improved in 2022 in what has been one of the most even National Basketball League (NBL) seasons in record. Taranaki showed again why they mean business, knocking over the top of the table Nelson Giants 85-75 on their home court on Saturday, then beating the defending champion Wellington Saints 111-105 on Sunday in the capital. The Airs' memorable win over Wellington could prove the death knell in the Saints' top six finals hopes. The city of Lysychansk has fallen to Russian forces as Ukraine's military command confirmed that its troops have been forced to withdraw. It had been Ukraine's last bastion in the eastern province of Luhansk and the subject of fierce fighting in recent days. "The continuation of the defence of the city would lead to fatal consequences," Ukraine's military said on Sunday. "In order to preserve the lives of Ukrainian defenders, a decision was made to withdraw." The confirmation from defence forces comes after Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu told President Vladimir Putin that the city has been "liberated" and that Moscow is in "full control" earlier in the day. 1. Russian forces claim control of Lysychansk Russia claimed control Sunday over the last Ukrainian stronghold in an eastern province that is key to achieving a major goal of its grinding war. Ukraine's General Staff of the military reported that its forces had withdrawn from Lysychansk in Luhansk province, but the president said the fight for the city was ongoing.
