Allrounder Neesham was the shock omission from the Black Caps’ 20-player contract list for 2022-23, which was announced on Friday . Neesham, who is competing in the Indian Premier League with the Rajasthan Royals, declined to comment when approached by Stuff . He has played in just one of the Royals’ 12 matches, mostly being a spectator. Jimmy Neesham has gone from being the Black Caps’ first-choice white ball allrounder to being left off New Zealand Cricket’s top 20 list. Stuff understands Neesham will be the major omission from the national contract list when it is unveiled on Friday. It is some fall for the 31-year-old, who had been New Zealand's leading allrounder in the ODI and T20 forms. LOVE Island bosses have recruited Rugby Super League star Jacques O'Neill to star in the upcoming series. The Castleford Tigers star, 23, is sidelined due to a hamstring injury and would be free to enter the Casa Amor villa when the reality dating series returns to ITV next month. Jacques debuted with the Tigers in 2019 and has even had a national call-up to play for the England Knights. Reports in Rugby League Live suggested the hunky loose forward could be heading to Spain in the hopes of finding love. He would not be the first sportsman to enter the villa.
