With Chatsworth Country Fair and the Darley Park Concert coming up this weekend, we're relying on good weather to keep spirits high. And it looks like it may deliver - it is expected to be sunny with temperatures of around 19-22C. The Met Office says that there will be lows of 8-14C over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be cloudy with sunny spells throughout the day. The warmest day will be Sunday, with highs of 22C. Chatsworth Country Fair, at Chatsworth House, began on Friday, 31 August, and is on until Sunday, whilst Hannells-sponsored Darley Park Concert is on Sunday, 2 September, at 6pm. Some famous faces will be at the Chatsworth Country Fair this weekend, including an array of TV chefs, as well as Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood. The one remaining airworthy Avro Lancaster bomber in Britain is set to make an appearance too, as it takes to the air just before 5pm on Sunday. From a show of student fashion and the music of David Essex, to an exhibition of suffragette memorabilia to music in the park – there’s a rich assortment of entertainment in the Huddersfield area in early June. Kirklees Suffragettes exhibition, Tolson Museum: Saturday, June 2. Historian Jill Liddington and author Frances Stonehouse are giving a talk to mark the launch of a new exhibition at the Huddersfield museum that celebrates local women who fought for and won the right to vote 100 years ago. The exhibition of items from the council’s collection includes an iconic Votes for Women banner, photographs, Edwardian costumes and political badges. Art-lovers can get a taste of this year’s Chichester Art Trail at a special preview exhibition at Chichester’s Oxmarket Gallery.
