Former California Congresswoman Katie Hill attended the Santa Clarita school where a gunman opened fire and spoke of her 'heartbreak' over the tragedy.   Hill, who recently resigned as a congresswoman representing California, was posting regular updates on social media as she revealed the latest shooting hit close to home. She claimed in a tweet: 'My god, active shooter at my high school. 7 injured so far. Unsure if the suspect is caught yet. Praying for all... we have so many campaign interns and volunteers who go there.' South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg has popped to the top of the pack of Democratic candidates in Iowa, the state that holds the first caucus.   November's Monmouth University Poll shows Buttigieg with 22 percent support, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden at 19 percent, Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 18 percent and Sen. President Donald Trump once again weighed in on the Democratic field as leading presidential candidates prepared to face off in Houston for the first time since their clash in Detroit at the end of July.  The president steered clear of his usual bag of insults, saying he 'respects' all of the candidates, and talked up the three poll leaders: former Vice President Joe Biden, Massachusetts Sen. Democratic presidential candidates put pressure Friday on Walmart to stop selling firearms after a gun-toting killer massacred 22 people in the parking lot of an El Paso retail store. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker joined Walmart workers in pushing the top retailer to pull guns from the shelves of its more than 5,300 stores countrywide.  Warren told the company to 'do the right thing—stop selling guns' in a string of tweets.  'Companies that sell guns have a responsibility to the safety of their communities.
