Mark Heap, 60, was born May 13, 1957 and is an English actor. He has appeared in various TV comedy roles, often playing obsessive and self-deluded characters. This included struggling artist Brian Topp in Spaced, the pompous Dr. Alan Statham in Green Wing, and various roles in the sketch show Big Train. More recently he played creepy neighbour Jim in Channel 4 comedy, Friday Night Dinner. Who is Mark's character on Benidorm? CULTURE Club's lead singer Boy George and Benidorm funnyman Johnny Vegas are two of the big names appearing on The One Show tonight. Boy George Born George Alan O'Dowd, the singer is best known as the front man behind '80s pop group Culture Club. The 56-year-old performed the lead vocals on the group's two biggest hits Do You Really Want to Hurt Me and Karma Chameleon.
