Maya Jama is said to be ‘heartbroken’ after reportedly splitting from her fiance Ben Simmons – however, she was spotted wearing her engagement ring just last week. The former BBC Radio 1 presenter got engaged to the NBA player in December when he popped the question over the Christmas period. From then, Maya, 27, swiftly moved to the US where basketball star Ben, 26, is based and has divided her time between the UK and Stateside ever since. She jetted back home last week to attend the GRM Gala – where she was seen wearing her large diamond engagement ring – but sources claimed the couple have called time on their whirlwind year-long romance. However, the TV presenter has since denied the claims tweeting: ‘Stop believing “sources” in papers plz.’ An insider had earlier claimed: ‘Maya called it off engagement after things came to head last month. ‘She is not going back to New York now. It’s heartbreaking for both of them, especially as they were so committed to … [Read more...] about Maya Jama ‘splits from fiance Ben Simmons’ after a year together – despite wearing engagement ring to GRM Gala

Almost a year on from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and tremors are still being felt following arguably the most controversial result in Formula 1 history. Michael Masi oversaw his last event as F1 race director at Yas Marina Circuit, where it was his decisions that led to Max Verstappen claiming his first world championship. It's now been claimed Masi signed a non-disclosure agreement with the FIA to never discuss the race, which many fans have interpreted as further evidence that Lewis Hamilton was dealt a major injustice in the 2021 title decider. Australia's Daily Telegraph reported on the NDA as part of a new interview with Masi, who was sacked as race director on the eve of the 2022 campaign. Motorsport's governing body has been criticised for its failure to properly address the 'Decider in the Desert', and these latest developments have given fans fresh ammunition.
