Russian forces massing on Ukraine’s border have daubed assault vehicles with ominous “invasion stripes,” heightening fears of all-out war breaking out. The Daily Mirror can also exclusively reveal that Russia will soon have a staggering assault force of 107,000 troops amassed at Ukraine’s border. It is far more than previously thought and emerged in documents leaked to the Mirror which include shocking details on the Russian firepower involved. Ukrainian military estimates of the advancing force include 1,300 battle tanks, 3,700 drones, 1,300 artillery and mortar units and 380 multiple launch rocket systems. The shocking numbers of troops alone represents at least 35,000 more Russian frontline troops more than the entire British Army following defence cuts. GREAT British Sewing Bee judge competley loses it as a contestant proudly shows off their "pussies" dress. The seventh series of the BBC show hit our screens last night - and one of the contestant's work left judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young in absolute hysterics. During the first week, for one of the challenges the sewers were asked to transform a T-shirt into absolutely anything they wanted. So cat-lover Jean decided to turn it into a dress that had her favourite furry animal printed on it. As Patrick had a good look at the new garm displayed on the mannequin, he couldn't help but point out the peculiar placing of the cats. WE all enjoyed a bit of nostalgia on Top Gear the other week. Freddie and co trying out their dads’ old cars. Well, listen up, because soon YOU can do it too. You can test drive all sorts of ordinary-yet-extraordinary cars from your childhood which you just don’t see any more. I’m talking about Capri, Escort, Sierra, classic Mini, Astra, Cavalier, Viva, Marina, Maestro, Avenger, Allegro, TR7, Imp, MGB GT and more. Ha, yes. I said Allegro. That car was properly naff but it sold in big numbers in the Seventies and early Eighties nonetheless, which means it’s a time capsule for many people. You can also try an old Jag, a classic Roller, a wonderful 1935 Austin 7 and one of my favourites, the lilac 1961 Minor Million. VLADIMIR Putin has blocked ALL foreign warships from reaching Ukraine after Joe Biden's Black Sea U-Turn. The Russian leader has amassed tens of thousands of troops and weaponry on the Ukrainian border in a terrifying escalation of tensions. This comes seven years after Russia ruthlessly annexed Crimea in the east of the country using militia groups. Moscow has now closed part of the Kerch Strait - which separates Crimea in the west from Russia in the east - after US President Biden threatened to send two Navy battleships to the region but then called them off . The Kremlin had earlier warned US warships to stay well away from the region “for their own good”, calling their potential deployment in the Black Sea a provocation.
