Dog gives owner ‘fright of life’ after she finds her ‘playing dead’ covered in red
A dog owner was given the "fright of her life" after finding her dog on the floor, covered in what she thought was blood. Upon closer inspection, Jordan Gilletti, an operations manager from Massachusetts, US, soon discovered that her dog wasn't injured, but was instead 'playing dead' and had red lipstick all over her. The Olde English Bulldogge, named Alice, had mischievously eaten one of Jordan's lipsticks and decided to roll onto her back for a belly rub when she heard her owner approaching. The 30-year-old, who is the proud owner of two bulldogs, Alice, four, and Edgar, five, says the pooch has a history of chewing objects and has previously eaten seven television remote controls. Jordan said: "I had gone to bed but I think Alice must have snuck up behind me and I didn't realise. "We live in an old house, so the floorboard is a little bit uneven. So, I think she must have somehow knocked my dressing table and my lipstick then fell on the floor. Marcus Rashford scores excellent goal in the first half Bruno Fernandes fortunate to score late penalty as goalkeeper dives correct way B runo Fernandes’ last-minute penalty was scored with just one eye open and helped Manchester United put one foot in the semi-finals of the Europa League. Marcus Rashford had earlier scored a crucial away goal at Estadio Municipal Nuevo Los Cármenes but the tie was still in the balance, particularly with Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay picking up bookings to rule them out of next week’s second leg. Referee Marriner initially awarded a yellow card for the challenge but was informed by the VAR official to have a second look.
