A hero pooch has saved its owner by biting the leg of a man who was holding a knife to her throat. Amy Edmondson, 30, was taking her beloved pet Star – a Staffordshire bull terrier cross/Jack Russell Pitbull cross – for a late-night walk. During the stroll a man and a woman approached her for directions. AN 11-MONTH-OLD baby has been found dead inside a top Christian private school in Australia. Detectives made the heartbreaking discovery at Kingsway Christian College in Darch, one of Perth's most elite schools. The baby’s body was discovered in the late hours of Wednesday, in Australian time, which is seven hours ahead of the UK. Major Crime squad detectives were at the scene late on Wednesday, but have not yet revealed whether the death is being treated as suspicious. The school, 17km north of central Perth, is a co-educational school with pupils from kindergarten to Year 12. MANCHESTER CITY players were given a rude awakening throughout the night as fans in Germany exploded fireworks outside their hotel. In comes as the Premier League champions take a 2-1 lead into the away leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Borussia Dortmund. Witnesses heard 'incredible bangs' which awoke residents and members of Pep Guardiola's travelling squad at the Radisson Blu in Dortmund. THE Jurassic Coast saw its biggest rockfall in 60 years as 4,000 tonnes tumbled from a 430ft cliff. The rubble has completely blocked off a beach along a stretch of Britain's historic Jurassic Coast. A huge chunk from a 430ft sandstone cliff gave way causing boulders the size of cars to plummet near Seatown in Dorset. Rangers have been assessing the damage throughout the day and Dorset Council is warning people to stay away. The 'gigantic' landslip affecting almost 1,000ft of cliffside took place overnight, with whole trees seen floating out to sea. It is believed to have been caused by natural erosion, not helped by recent mixed weather. Jake Lanning, from West Bay Coastguard, said: "We have been aware of this since this morning and it is a very very substantial fall. "The county council are aware of it and I know their rangers have been out assessing the damage.
