A former police officer has been sentenced to 13 and a half months after pleading guilty to misconduct in public office and possession of more than 16,000 indecent images of children.Robert Jason Ainscough, 34, was sentenced at Craigavon Crown Court.In 2016, a woman made police aware of images he had sent her of himself while on duty. After this, a number of his electronic devices were seized.The judge said Ainscough was a "disgraced man". The court heard Ainscough had consensually exchanged explicit messages with three women while on duty. Some of the images were taken at Lurgan and Banbridge police stations, as well as in a police vehicle. No formal complaint was made by any of the women involved. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have visited Belfast and Armagh on the third day of their visit to the island of Ireland.Hundreds of people lined Belfast streets as the royal couple was greeted by the new Sinn Féin Lord Mayor of Belfast, John Finucane.They were visiting the fire-damaged Primark Building in the city centre.It came only hours after Mr Finucane was warned by police of a loyalist death threat against him.In the past, some members of Sinn Féin have been reluctant to meet members of the royal family but, before his installation on Tuesday, Mr Finucane insisted he would be prepared to do so. Meeting Prince Charles and Camilla is one of Mr Finucane's first official duties. Daniel Radcliffe is choked to discover that his great-great-uncle Ernie – whose photo inspired him during filming of First World War drama My Boy Jack – was killed during the conflict. The Harry Potter star learns during filming of BBC1’s Who Do You Think You Are? that Ernie McDowell was one of great-great-grandmother Flo’s four brothers who went off to fight. Sadly Ernie, from Banbridge in Co Down, Northern Ireland, was the only one not to return home. In 2007 Radcliffe played John Kipling in an ITV film about the grief of his author father, Rudyard Kipling, when the 18-year-old died in the conflict. When it is busy he and his colleagues have little time for small talk but when they get a break there is only one subject of conversation - the success of their former workmate John O'Dowd.The Sinn Fein MLA who is now standing in as deputy first minister worked as head chef at the restaurant before he became a full time politician.
