A mother admitted to throwing her newborn son off a second-story balcony and killing him. Amber Bowling pleaded guilty to the murder of her baby in court on Monday, according to LEX 18 . Bowling was 21 years old when she gave birth to her son in December 2018. She put her crying infant in a trash bag and threw it over an apartment complex banister that was two floors up, the TV station reported. She committed the act in Manchester , Kentucky, just hours after giving birth to him, according to authorities at the time. ‘It’s heartbreaking,’ Kentucky State Police Trooper Lloyd Cochran told LEX 18 before Bowling was arrested. ‘Baffles your mind thinking about who could have done this and why.’ At the time of the incident, police got a call reporting that an infant was dead in a garbage bag on the front porch of the apartment complex.
