ONE in four Brits has China on their 'bucket list' - and the Great Wall tops the list of attractions they most want to visit, a study has found. A poll of 2,000 adults also found China beat Singapore, Bali and South Korea as countries we would most like to visit. Other top sights Brits would love to see in the Far East include the Terracotta Army in Xi’an and the Forbidden City in Beijing. The study also found around six out of ten wrongly believe the Great Wall is visible from space – which in fact is an urban myth. More than a third would like the opportunity to get up close and personal with the giant pandas at Chengdu’s Panda Base. As well as being able to see giant pandas, the base also cares for other rare and endangered wild animals within the area. MEGHAN has made no secret about her desire to have children and even said motherhood was on her “bucket list”. In an interview two years ago, around the same time her relationship with Prince Harry was made public, the Duchess of Sussex said: “I can’t wait to start a family — but in due time.” The topic of children was also brought up with the couple during their BBC engagement interview back in November. Driving Route 66, going to gigs and "getting the kids to move out" are among the top bucket list wishes for over 55s, according to a new survey. The baby boomer generation are planning a range of adventure experiences in their retirement years, the poll found. While “seeing the world” made the top of the list, learning a foreign language and going to more concerts also ranked highly. Getting a tattoo, online dating and learning to swim also made the top 30, as did hiring a personal trainer and learning to play the guitar. More than half of those surveyed said they were “confident” they will achieve their goals. “Retirement isn’t what it used to be," said Harold Pritchard, distribution director at Legal & General Home Finance, which commissioned the survey. Becky, from Trebarwith, completed the race in an impressive time of 5:07:02, bearing in mind she only began training after receiving her ballot place, having never really run before.She said the day was an emotional one and something she had never expected: “Lots of people have said that because it was the hottest London Marathon on record it was really tough, but I actually found it ok. I’ve never been athletic or particularly into sport, I only joined up as it was on my bucket list. I started training for the marathon after I received my ballot place so I was really pleased with my time of five hours!”Becky said she thinks the marathon was made easier for her because of where she lives.
