The changes you’ll go through as a new parent can not be underestimated. Post-partum recovery, new ways of sleeping (or not so much of it) and breastfeeding difficulties are just some of the challenges new mums can face. But along with the new adjustment come many joys and it’s important to remember all newborns are different and will adjust at their own pace. One common issue that parents face is trouble feeding and while this may be due to breastfeeding and not latching properly, it can also be because of tongue-tie . So what exactly is tongue-tie? Well, in short, it is where the strip of skin connecting the baby’s tongue to the bottom of the mouth is shorter than usual. A mum has been grilled online for sharing the baby name she chose for her daughter. The woman made her child's name known when she posted snaps in a Disney group online. Her daughter was wearing sequinned bright pink Mickey Mouse ears and a gold crown. Snapchat is introducing a new in-app tool to enable parents to get more insights on how their teenagers use Snapchat. The new ‘Family Center’ feature will show parents their children’s friend list and who is communicating with them without being able to view the content of their conversations. To use the tool, parents will need to have their teen add them on Snapchat. Snapchat will allow parents to monitor who their teenagers are talking to, without prying on their private conversations. The social media app popular with teens will launch a new tool called Family Centre, which links to their child’s Snapchat. It requires parents to have an account on the app and to be friends with their child’s account. The safety hub will show parents who is on their child’s friends list and who they are talking to, but will not allow them to access the content of their chats. Parents will be able to confidentially report accounts they are concerned about to the tech company’s safety team. Motown legend Lamont Dozier has died, aged 81. The song-writing genius’ death, behind classics such as Baby Love and Two Hearts, was confirmed by his son Lamont Dozier Jr Instagram. He wrote alongside a picture of the pair: ‘Rest in Heavenly Peace, Dad!!!’ A cause of death has not yet been confirmed. Producer Brandon Williams led tributes to Dozier, writing: ‘Another man that sat down and taught me a lot about music is gone. ‘The great Lamont Dozier. I’ll never forget meeting and working with him along with the Holland Brothers in 2006. ‘Thank you for all you did for me and for the world at large.
