John Kerry, the former secretary of state and 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, is endorsing Joe Biden for president, buoying the former vice president's argument that his international experience should be a deciding factor for voters in 2020. The Biden campaign rolled out Kerry's endorsement as it continues to hammer President Donald Trump as a dangerous and erratic commander in chief and head of state. The campaign hammered the argument Wednesday with an online ad featuring video of other world leaders mocking Trump at a Buckingham Palace reception held alongside a NATO summit. Democratic presidential contender Michael Bloomberg unveiled a gun control policy on Thursday just steps from the site of one of Colorado's worst mass shootings, calling for a ban on all assault weapons, mandatory permits for gun purchasers and a new position in the White House to coordinate gun violence prevention. 'I've been all in on the fight against gun violence for 15 years, and I'm just getting started,' Bloomberg declared. 'As president, I will work to end the gun violence epidemic once and for all.' He added: 'Donald Trump seems to accept this violence and pain. My God, there has to be something we can do.'
