Mike Myers said that one of his kids continues to push him to do another Austin Powers film. The actor spoke with People Friday as he turned 55, saying that his oldest child, six-year-old son Spike, presses him about another installment in the series that included 1997's Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, 1999's Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and 2002's Austin Powers in Goldmember. Spike 'keeps asking me, "Where’s the fourth Austin Powers?" which is the weirdest thing,' said Myers, who has two other kids with wife Kelly Tisdale: daughters Sunday, four, and Paulina, two. The actor Verne Troyer has died, according to a statement posted to his social media pages on Saturday. He was 49. Troyer, who was 2ft 8in tall, found fame in Mike Myers’ Austin Powers spy spoof movies as Mini-Me, a clone of the villain Dr Evil. The last Austin Powers film, Goldmember, was released in 2002. Other roles included Griphook in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001), Coach Punch Cherkov in Myers’ The Love Guru (2008) and Percy in Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009). Troyer also appeared in Madonna’s video for her 1999 song Beautiful Stranger and made appearances on reality TV. Austin Powers star Verne Troyer is "resting comfortably" after reports he was rushed to hospital on 2 April, a statement on his official Facebook page has said. The Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed to People that they were called to the actor's home in north Hollywood at around 8.34pm on Monday night, and one person was taken to hospital. A law enforcement source told TMZ that Troyer was "extremely upset, drunk and suicidal", and also reported that he will remain in hospital for 72 hours for evaluation. On Facebook, a statement on his page said: "Asking you to keep Verne in your thoughts and prayers. He's getting the best care possible and is resting comfortably. Appreciate the support from family, friends and fans around the world. We will keep you updated here."
