LEEDS UNITED are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea outcast Kenedy - just weeks after the midfielder's shock return to Stamford Bridge. The Blues prematurely ended the midfielder's loan spell with Brazilian side Flamengo earlier this month. But according to The Telegraph , the 25-year-old could potentially be snapped up by Leeds before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Monday night. Youri Tielemans should move to Manchester United and snub Arsenal as the two clubs battle to sign the Leicester City midfielder, according to Louis Saha. The 25-year-old Belgium international only had one year left on his current Leicester deal and has his heart set on leaving the club this summer. Tielemans, who has registered 158 appearances for the Foxes since arriving at the King Power Stadium from Monaco in 2019 – initially on a loan deal before signing permanently for around £32m – is thought to be available for around £25m. A high level investigation is under way following the alleged murder of a woman by a mental health patient in Christchurch. The director of mental health is using statutory powers under the Mental Health Act to inspect the unit the patient was in. Several staff at the unit have resigned since the alleged murder. Several staff at a Christchurch mental health unit have quit after a volatile man they felt shouldn't have been allowed out allegedly stabbed a woman on a city street. The family of a Connecticut man who was severely injured while riding in a police van this month says he was left paralyzed after multiple officers ignored his repeated calls for help. Randy Cox was handcuffed and incapacitated when police in New Haven dragged him from the back of the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt and his head was slammed against the back of the van when the officer driving it made a sudden stop, a disturbing video shows. His family is now calling for justice and is pursuing damages against the city. "It made me sick to my stomach, to treat somebody like that," Cox's sister, Latoya Boomer, told CBS News. Cox was at a block party on June 19 when police arrived in response to a weapons complaint. Officers arrested Cox, who they say is an ex-felon and was carrying a firearm illegally. Hong Kong's next leader will be a security chief known for his crackdown on the city's pro-democracy movement. Former police officer John Lee was the only candidate in an "election" to choose a successor to Carrie Lam as Hong Kong's chief executive. Thousands more people have been successfully evacuated from besieged Ukrainian cities, including the port of Mariupol which authorities say is being "wiped off the face of the earth" by Russian shelling. Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the president's office, said in an online post that 4,128 more people had left the devastated southeastern city of Mariupol as Russian forces continue their advance. More than 350,000 people have been sheltering there with no access to food or water, as the Kremlin said its forces were "tightening the encirclement" after bombarding and cutting it off from the Sea of Azov.
