Big Brother is finally set to make a dramatic return with a brand-new series on ITV after months of speculation. ITV viewers were left gasping during Monday night's Love Island final when the broadcaster dropped a short trailer for the upcoming season as the iconic Big Brother eye appeared on screen with the show's theme tune playing in the background. The iconic reality TV show hasn't been on air since 2018 when it was axed by Channel 5, but a 'Big Brother for the Love Island generation' is planned to be shown on ITV2 from next year - and the next series promises to be better than ever. Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has dropped a big hint over the club’s rumoured pursuit of Leicester City ’s Wesley Fofana, underlining the need to rejuvenate his back-line with a young defender. The Blues started the first match of their new Premier League campaign with three veterans in their back-line: Thiago Silva (37), Cesar Azpilicueta (32) and new signing Kalidou Koulibaly (31). EASTENDERS have recast soap star Amy Mitchell with the actress Ellie Dadd ahead of a new storyline for the popular character. The daughter of the late Roxy Mitchell and Jack Branning has been played by four actresses since her birth in 2008 on EastEnders . Actress Abbie Burke has played the character for the last eight years. She took over from Amelie Conway in March 2014 but her last appearance on the soap was in June. However now Silent Witness star Ellie Dadd has taken over the role - and she makes her debut in this week's episodes.
