The Mayor of Nice is urging Emmanuel Macron to overturn a ban on a mobile phone application that can be used to report suspicious behaviour to the security services. Christian Estrosi, a former deputy minister, has overseen a multi-million euro spending drive in Nice to ramp up security after it was devastated by the July 2016 truck attack, which left 86 people dead. But he claims that the French authorities are obstructing one of his key proposals: an Israeli mobile phone app that can be used by citizens to send pictures of suspected terrorists directly to the security services. Android phone users are at risk of "clickfraud" apps that can drain their battery and leave them with huge phone bills. These apps have been secretly performing criminal activity out of sight, according to security experts. "Clickfraud" apps simply pose as normal Google Play Store apps, reports Birmingham Live. British security software firm Sophos identified 22 apps, which collectively, have been downloaded more than 22 million times by device owners. NHS worker Luke Lucas has developed a revolutionary new app – which helps people save money every time they post a selfie. The 31-year-old, from Kidsgrove , has launched a new social media site called Papzie, where people can post a photo in exchange for discounts at local restaurants and attractions. Papzie is being piloted in Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester – and a handful of businesses have already signed up. They include The Exchange and The Little Dessert Shop, both in Hanley , and Canal Street bars KIKI and Bar Pop, in Manchester. Un fallo de Facebook ha afectado a 6,8 millones de personas que usaban Facebook Login (utilizar la red social para identificarse en otras aplicaciones).
