The results for Apple's so-called boring quarter are scheduled for release on Tuesday, as investors keep a trained eye on any hints for timing and pricing of the next iPhone. Apple is expected to report $52.4bn (£40bn) in revenue across its fiscal third quarter for the three months ending in June, representing a year-on-year growth of over 15 per cent according to consensus estimates collated by S&P Global Market Intelligence. The springtime months are usually Apple's smallest in terms of revenue for its biggest sellers like the iPhone, as customers hold off on making any purchases ahead of the company's largest annual product reveal in September.
