OVER 150 mass vaccination centres could CLOSE next month threatening to derail the UK's jab blitz. A memo from the NHS last week warned that the shortage in AstraZeneca vaccines would lead to sites being temporarily closed. Centres in Kent, Cornwall and Devon are among those confirmed to close and if the rest of the country follows suit, all 150 mass sites could be shut. As a result vaccination centres have been asked to close unfilled vaccine appointment bookings from March 29. Mr Hancock said: ““There will be no weeks in April with no first doses. "There will be no cancelled appointments as a result of supply issues.
