THE worst primary schools in England have finally been revealed - and you can find out if your child's is on this list. More than 90,000 pupils are being taught at under-performing primaries, and 346 of those schools are far below Government targets. The East and East Midlands had the highest percentage of bad performing schools, statistics from the Department for Education revealed. But primaries in London had the lowest, with less than 1 per cent falling below standards. Schools are considered to be under-performing if less than 65 per cent of pupils reach the expected standard in reading, writing and maths. St Andrews maintained their winning run in all competitions with victories at the weekend in the national inter-club Denny Cup and the Wessex League.On Saturday, they faced new Denny Cup opponents in Bridport, who had beaten Taunton Vivary in the previous round.Three of the four rinks proved very close, but Craig Walker’s away four, with the skip and No 3 Sam Stocker in brilliant form, won by 27 shots to set up an overall victory by 28.At home, debutant Dave Alder skipped his rink to a three-shot success, having been 4-11 down after nine ends.
